UHD will screen three critically-acclaimed contemporary French films on three consecutive evenings. Serge Bozon's First World War epic La France will be shown Wednesday evening, March 24. On the schedule for Thursday evening, March 25, is Joël Farges's Serko. Lisa Nesselson of Variety describes Serko as "a captivating, exquisitely lensed" adventure, and "a genuine charmer for kids on up." Benoît Cohen's Qui m'aime me suive (If you love me, follow me) will be shown on Friday evening, March 26. Cohen's 2006 comedy tells the story of a successful Parisian surgeon who chucks his career in mid-life to form a rock band.
All screenings will begin at 7:00 pm and are in French with English subtitles. All are open to the public and free of charge.
