Month of March/Blaffer Gallery. Chantal Akerman (born June 6, 1950) who is a Belgian film director and artist currently residing in Paris. Her films often represent her observations of identity, sexuality and politics. She has been widely regarded as one of Europe’s prolific auteur filmmakers.

Her creation, Moving through Time and Space, includes  D'est: Au bord de la fiction, 1995; Sud, 1999; De l'autre côté, 2002; Là-bas, 2006; and Les Femmes d'Anvers en Novembre, 2007, which is a new project filmed especially for the exhibition.
